Structured learning for professional caregivers and family members supporting older people in Nigeria.
EOON Care provides practical caregiver training developed by a UK Registered Nurse and designed around the realities of care practice in Nigeria.
Our training covers person-centred care, professional boundaries, duty of care, safeguarding, communication and other essential care skills.
Successful EOON Care caregiver applicants complete the mandatory four-hour EOON Basic Care Training before they may be considered for appropriate deployment. Existing EOON caregivers repeat this training annually.
Separate learning programmes are also available for professional caregivers who want to develop their practice and family members caring for an older relative at home.
EOON Care training supports safe practice and internal workforce development. It is not a government or professional qualification. Completion does not guarantee employment or deployment.
How EOON Care training works
How EOON Care training works
Training enrolment and applying to work with EOON Care are separate processes. Choose the route that matches your reason for learning.
Step 1 – Choose your training programme
Review the available programmes and select the one that is appropriate for your role, experience and learning needs.
Step 2 – Enrol and receive access
Complete the enrolment and payment process. Access to the relevant videos, workbook and learning materials is provided after payment is confirmed.
Step 3 – Complete the learning
Work through the video lessons, workbook activities and any required assessments. Training can be completed remotely at your own pace within the permitted access period.
Step 4 – Complete the assessment
Submit the required workbook or assessment activities. These are reviewed against the requirements of the selected EOON Care programme.
Step 5 - Receive your training outcome
Learners who meet the programme requirements receive an EOON Care Certificate of Completion where this is specified for the programme.

Completing a training programme does not guarantee employment or deployment. Anyone seeking caregiver work with EOON Care must complete a separate application, interview and verification process.
Applicants who pass EOON Care’s interview and verification process complete the mandatory EOON Basic Care Training before they may be considered for deployment, subject to demonstrated competence, caregiver availability and client requirements.
